Nick Pringle enters transfer portal: 5 possible landing spots
South Carolina Gamecocks
Pringle is a native of Seabrook, South Carolina about two hours south of Columbia. The opportunity to return home combined with the fact that the Gamecocks appear to be an up-and-coming program in the SEC could make this an attractive spot for Pringle. South Carolina exceeded expectations in Lamont Paris’ second year, going 26-8 and reaching the NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks will return one of their budding stars in 2024-25, forward Collin Murray-Boyles, but will lose a lot from this past season’s roster including leading scorer Meechie Johnson, and frontcourt players Benjamin Bosmans-Verdonk, Stephen Clark and B.J. Mack, the latter of whom averaged over 13 points. Similar to his former Wofford teammate Mack, Pringle could step into big minutes in Columbia and play a key role next season.
