NJIT Handles Saint Peter’s In Wednesday’s High-Scoring Affair
Little Falls, N.J.- Saint Peter's Baseball lost to New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), 27-14, on Wednesday afternoon at Yogi Berra Stadium. Game Notes This game featured a high-scoring affair from both offenses. After trailing 15-3 heading into the fourth inning, Saint Peter's erupted for a seven-run top of the fourth inning. NJIT put the game away in the seventh inning by scoring six runs, which extended the lead to 26-14. The Highlanders tacked on one more run in the bottom of the eighth to seal the 27-14 win.
