ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Oneonta baseball team defeated Utica 12-5 on Wednesday as nine Red Dragons recorded a hit. Oneonta moves to 13-16 overall, while Utica falls to 9-18. The Pioneers grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the first when Josh Duval hit a two-RBI single to center field. Oneonta responded at the bottom of the frame when junior Josh Gilkey (Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse Minor) scored on a catcher error, which made it 2-1.
