The Monmouth College softball team played their first MWC road games of the season, falling 6-2 and 15-7 at Illinois College on Wednesday. Karliegh Ashby (Monmouth, Illinois) led off game one with a triple and she scored on a wild pitch with one out. The Lady Blues took a 2-1 lead against Alyssa Hefflefinger (Olin, Iowa) in the bottom of the first.
