Softball Splits with Devils

MADISON, N.J. – The Neumann University softball team split a doubleheader with FDU-Florham on Wednesday afternoon. The Knights won game one 14-8 while the Devils took game two 12-0. In game one, Elizabeth Shire knocked in four runs while Sydney Wright and Alexis Palombi each had three RBI. Each starter had at least one hit in the game. Shire hit a two-run double in the top of the first for an early 2-0 Knights lead. Wright and Palombi followed with back-to-back RBI singles for a 4-0 lead after one inning.
