Softball tops UMASS

AMHERST, Mass. – The UConn softball team defeated the UMASS Minutewomen, 5-3 on Wednesday afternoon at Sortino Field. Hallie Siems made her 22nd start of the season for the Huskies, picking up her 11th win on the year. She went 6.0 innings giving up three runs on only three hits with eight strikeouts.
