Spartans crush Trojans

WAUWATOSA — Brookfield East softball made light work of Wauwatosa West when it visited on Tuesday night. The Spartans won the contest 17-0 in five innings, with freshman pitcher Layla Diehl throwing a two-hit shutout. Freshman Elizabeth Lacey had a huge game at the plate for the Spartans, going 3-for-3 with a double, four RBIs and two stolen bases.
