Steelheads Add Three New Prospects in 2024 OHL Under 18 Selection
MISSISSAUGA, ON - The Steelheads added three new prospects in the OHL’s Under 18 Selection on Wednesday night. Mississauga had the 13th, 33rd, and 50th overall picks in the draft. With their first selection, the Steelheads drafted goaltender Alexander Armellin from Woodbridge, Ontario. The 2007-born goaltender spent the past season with the U18 Toronto Nationals. In the 2023 OHL Cup, he played four games for the Toronto Jr. Canadiens posting a .670 GAA and .972 SV% on route to winning the championship.
