Grand Canyon men’s tennis graduate Gerhard Sullwald and sophomore David Wekesa earned first-team singles honors and second-team doubles honors in All-WAC voting announced on Wednesday. Sullwald spent one season with the Lopes after transferring from North Dakota. He most frequently appeared on the top court where he went 5-6 overall and 2-1 in WAC play. Wekesa boasted GCU’s best singles record as 12-4 on the year and a perfect 4-0 in conference play. Wekesa went 10-2 on Court 3 and 2-2 on Court 2.
