Thunder baseball hosts Illinois Wesleyan at Pfund Stadium

Carol Stream, Ill. – The Thunder baseball team hosted Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday night for a CCIW matchup against the Titans. The Titans topped the Thunder 9-1 in the midweek matchup. Illinois Wesleyan scored nine runs, on 12 hits, with one error and Wheaton had one run, one nine hits, with one error. Junior JD Van Hook started the game on the mound for the Thunder as he pitched 4-2/3 innings. Van Hook allowed six runs, on five hits, striking out three. John McCraith pitched 3-1/3 innings of relief as he allowed one run, on four hits, with one strikeout.…
