RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) head men’s basketball coach Kahil Fennell announced on Wednesday the hiring of former UTRGV student manager Jacob Galindo, who spent the last three seasons at Prairie View A&M, as the director of basketball operations. Galindo joined the staff at Prairie View A&M in the 2021-22 season as a graduate assistant before being promoted to assistant coach this past season, where he helped the Panthers win the EKU Classic.
