Jordan Derkack committed to Rutgers basketball out of the transfer portal on Tuesday night, giving the Big Ten program another bonafide shooter. Named the NEC Player of the Year last season, Derkack is a big addition to the Rutgers rebuild. Last season at Merrimack, Derkack averaged 17.0 points per game along with 6.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
