Women’s Lacrosse Topples Wilkes for Ninth Straight Victory

Release courtesy of Sports Information Intern, Vin Rinella SCRANTON, Pa. — The University of Scranton women’s lacrosse team (12-2, 7-0 Landmark) remained unbeaten in Landmark Conference play after they soundly defeated Wilkes (2-13, 0-7 Landmark) by a score of 19-1 Wednesday afternoon at Weiss Field. The Royals took a commanding 13-1 lead into halftime thanks in part to a first quarter where they outscored the Colonels 10-0.
