Baseball Earns First NJAC Win of the Season Over William Paterson, 10-4
WAYNE, NJ | The Rutgers-Newark baseball team picked up its first New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) win of the season with a 10-4 win over William Paterson on the road on Thursday afternoon. Rutgers-Newark (16-15, 1-10) scattered 12 hits to score 10 runs in the win over the Pioneers. Eric Recchia (3-for-5, 2 RBI) and Matthew Storch (2-for-5, 3 RBI) brought in half of the runs for the Scarlet Raiders.
