Baseball: Mount Union Splits with John Carroll

ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union baseball team split its home doubleheader against Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) foe John Carroll on Thursday. The Purple Raiders (21-9, 7-5 OAC) won game one, 6-1, and lost game two, 14-8. The game two loss was Mount Union’s first at home this season. In game one, Mount Union had a 6-0 lead through eight innings until John Carroll (11-17, 5-7 OAC) spoiled the shutout with a run in the ninth.
