ALLIANCE – The bats were quiet in the opener, but Mount Union couldn’t keep the Blue Streaks quiet forever. John Carroll Baseball erupted for 14 runs in the second game, salvaging a split with a 14-8 win to close the day after a disappointing 6-1 loss in the opener.
