Hood to Compete for Australia in 2024 Softball World Cup Finals

CONWAY, S.C. – Sophomore first baseman Georgia Hood has been selected to compete for the Australian Women's Softball Team in the 2024 Women's Softball World Cup Finals in July. Hood is one of 16 selections for the Australia national team and will be competing alongside seven former Olympians. The competition is set to take place in Castions di Strada, Italy, from July 15-21. Australia will take on Japan, the Netherlands, and Puerto Rico during the group stages of the tournament.
