Izarra, van Eijkelenburg, Hederich Earn All-Big South Women’s Tennis Honors

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Longwood sophomore Oriana Izarra and freshman Feline van Eijkelenburg have been named 2024 All-Big South Conference in women's tennis, the league announced Thursday. Izarra earned a second all-conference doubles selection with van Eijkelenburg, while van Eijkelenburg was named second team in singles. Senior Nina Hederich was the Lancers' representative on the 2024 Big South All-Academic Team. Izarra, a Valencia, Venezuela, native and van Eijkelenburg, from Haarlem, Netherlands, partnered, playing to an 8-4 overall record this season.
