The Cards are down a starter on the defensive side of the ball. Louisville linebacker Jaylin Alderman is the latest Cardinal to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. A starter in all 14 games last season, Alderman ranked fourth on the team in tackles with 62, and second in tackles for loss with seven.
