Malik Brooks Honored By USBWA Chapter For Second Straight Year

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Malik Brooks has been honored by the Rochester chapter of the U.S. Basketball Writers Association for the second straight season. Brooks, a 6-foot, 3-inch senior guard from Lockport, N.Y., repeated as a first-team selection after averaging 18.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.7 steals while shooting .497 from the field. Brooks, a first-team All-East Coast Conference selection, ranked fifth in the ECC in scoring, third in field goal percentage, fifth in steals and 10 th in assists.
