No. 27 Blazer Women’s Tennis Silences West Georgia Wolves on the Road, 7-0
Valdosta State CARROLLTON, Ga. – The No. 27 Valdosta State women's tennis team defeated West Georgia 7-0 on Thursday afternoon in the final meeting between the two teams as NCAA Division II members. The Blazers improved to 9-11 overall and 7-2 in Gulf South Conference play, while West Georgia ended its season at 6-10 overall and 2-8 in GSC play. The Wolves are moving to NCAA Division I next season, while VSU evened the Red Clay Rivalry Series at 4-4 with the win.
