Preview: Saints, Torrey Pines square off Friday for Open Division boys tennis title

Open Division: (6) St. Augustine (15-2) vs. (1) Torrey Pines (22-0) When: 4 p.m. Friday Where: Barnes Tennis Center St. Augustine has played the Cinderella role, knocking off third-seeded Westview in the quarterfinals and second-seeded Bishop’s in the semifinals. The Saints are led by the singles players Sebastian Careaga and Matthew Gosling. Having beaten the Saints 16-2 earlier in the season, Torrey Pines is a decided favorite.
