7. New York Knicks

Jalen Brunson has almost single-handedly brought the Knicks back into championship contention. The former Dallas Maverick has a case to earn a first-team All-NBA selection after he averaged 28.7 points, 6.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds in the regular season. Julius Randle had season-ending shoulder surgery so the Knicks won’t be complete for their postseason run but the added firepower from OG Anunoby, Josh Hart and Donte DiVincenzo mitigates some of that loss. Tom Thibodeau’s squad finished top 10 in offensive and defensive rating which is often a sign of a true title contender.
