FRIPP ISLAND, SC -- (FIRST ROUND RECAP) The USC Upstate Men's golf team concluded day one in seventh place with a team score of 293. Alec Prentice, Jaskaran Sohal, and Zander Briggs all find themselves in the top twenty of the tournament. Prentice had a particularly strong front nine, carding four birdies to start the day one under par. Teammates Cameron Biddle and Barrett Josey are both tied for 34th, rounding out the scoring for the Spartans.
