KOHLER — Cody Schmidt took third overall as Germantown tied for eighth place after the first day of the Sheboygan North Invitational at Blackwolf Run. The Warhawks tallied 318 strokes while Waukesha North led after day one with 300, followed by Slinger (328), Hartford Union (329), Kewaskum (344) and West Bend West (351). Schmidt shot a 71 to finish two shots back, followed by Charlie Larson (81), Trevor Newkirk (81) and Reid Newkirk (85).
