Softball Drops Two to Wilmington
WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Capital University softball team (10-8, 5-5 OAC) traveled for a twinbill at Wilmington (15-16-1, 3-9 OAC) on Thursday, unfortunately falling in both games, 1-0 in the first and 14-6 in the second. The first game was a pitchers duel that was not decided until the fifth inning when Wilmington broke the scoreless tie with one run. Despite hitting safely six times, the Comets could not push any runs across and would succumb to a 1-0 losing result.
