Women’s Track and Field Sets 11 Personal Records at Bryan Clay

By: Alex Kline, Assistant Athletics Director for Communications AZUSA, Calif. – The Cal Poly Pomona women’s track and field team had a strong showing at the Bryan Clay Invitational this past Saturday, entering the CPP Top 10 record book in four separate events while earning three NCAA provisional qualifying marks. The Broncos saw 11 personal records broken, including all four that competed in the 5000 meters at the Leopard Distance Carnival. Galilea Jimenez climbed to third all-time in the 3000 meter steeplechase, while Alondra Arias ranks ninth in the 800 meters and Shona Christensen now ranks sixth in the hammer…
