NEWARK, NJ | The Rutgers-Newark baseball squad dropped the second leg of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) series against William Paterson, 11-3 on Friday afternoon. Rutgers-Newark (16-16, 1-11) scattered 10 hits but scored just three runs as they left 9 runners on the bases. Chase Ostrowski (2-3) tossed 1.1 innings with two strikeouts and eight earned runs.
