BERKELEY – The No. 20 California softball team fell, 8-3, to No. 8 Washington in the series opener on Friday at Levine-Fricke Field. Tianna Bell hit her ninth home run of the season and Acacia Anders recorded an RBI triple for the Golden Bears (30-13, 4-10 Pac-12). Rylee Holtorf went 2-for-3 with a home run for the Huskies (29-7, 11-5 Pac-12).
