Bears slay Bengals, Reitano sets scoring record
POTSDAM, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam women’s lacrosse team (4-8, 1-6) blew out Buffalo State (6-7, 2-5) in the second half for a 20-11 victory on Friday afternoon. Graduate student attack Anita Reitano (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park) led the way with nine points on four goals and five assists to establish herself as the program’s new scoring record holder. She now has 140 goals and 87 assists for 227 points. Senior captain Lindsey LaDue (Massena, N.Y./Massena) also had an outstanding day with five goals and two assists for seven points to go with nine draw controls and four ground balls. Freshman attack…
