Brian Goodell shatters Grinnell school record in 10,000

Results ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – One week after moving up to second on Grinnell College’s all-time chart in one event, Brian Goodell ’24 did even better by toppling a 20-year-old school record in another. Goodell won the 10,000-meter run at the Augustana Meet of Champions Friday night, cruising around the track in 30 minutes, 40.71 seconds to shatter Grinnell’s school record by 15 seconds. The previous mark of 30:55.10 was established by David Honig in 2004.
