DeQuevedo Sees Action at the Phil Esten Challenge
LA CROSSE, Wis . – Super senior Alexxa DeQuevedo (Silver Bay, Minn./William Kelley) from the Yellowjacket women’s track and field team holds fifteenth place in the heptathlon after the opening day of the Phil Esten Challenge, hosted by UW-La Crosse at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Scoring 2,003 points Friday, DeQuevedo’s top two performances came in the shot put and 200-meter race, finishing with a heave of 8.83 meters (12th) and a time of 28.82 (13th).
