Fisher Earns MAC Golfer of the Week Honors

CLEVELAND— The Mid-American Conference honored Miami captain Danny Fisher as its Golfer of the Week today. Fisher took third place as an individual out of 75 players at the Highland Meadows Intercollegiate earlier this week in Sylvania, Ohio. Fisher (68-67-71—206) shot three below par in round one, four below par in round two and even par in the final round. His three-round score of seven under par included 13 birdies and helped Miami secure a second-place team finish in the tournament. Fisher and the RedHawks are back in action this weekend at Ohio State's Robert Kepler Invitational.
