MINNEAPOLIS — Wenceel Pérez completed a three-hit game with a go-ahead RBI single in the ninth inning, putting the Tigers on top for good in a wild 5-4 win over the Twins on a frigid Friday night at Target Field. After Pérez and Parker Meadows appeared to be on different wavelengths on a misplayed fly ball that fueled Minnesota’s game-tying two-run sixth inning, it was fitting that they came together to put Detroit back in front.
