Jackson State Shut Out by Alabama A&M in Series Opener

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.| The Jackson State softball team was not able to score a run against Alabama A&M pitcher Cris'Deona Beasley on Friday despite recording six hits and were shut out 2-0 by the Bulldogs. Victoria Salazar started and took the loss in the circle for Jackson State. The right-hander went six innings, giving up two runs, one earned, on seven hits, allowing one walk and striking out two.
