Kortnie Volk Takes Heptathlon Crown at Gibson Invitational

TERRE HAUTE – Kortnie Volk won the heptathlon, jumping from fifth to first on the second day of competition, as the Milwaukee track & field program competed at the Gibson Invitational today. Kortnie Volk ended yesterday in fifth place in the heptathlon, collecting 2740 points through the first four events. She then opened the Friday events with a win in the long jump at 5.61m (18’5).
