Te-Biasu, this past season’s A-10 player of the year, is Maryland's second transfer addition in as many days. Maryland women’s basketball secured its second transfer commitment of the offseason Friday, with VCU point guard Sarah Te-Biasu announcing on social media that she will play for the Terps. Te-Biasu’s exceptional play led her to be named the 2023-24 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, marking the first time a VCU player received the honor since 2003-04.
