River Hawks Split Time at Day One of Virginia Challenge and George Davis Invitational
LOWELL, Mass. – The UMass Lowell men’s track and field team split up on Friday, competing in both the Virginia Challenge at Virginia and the George Davis Invitational at home at Cushing Field. Down in Virginia, graduate students Tommy Jordan (Needham, Mass.) and Hunter Marino (Weymouth, Mass.) got the day started in the 400m. Jordan was the first to finish, earning 28th place with a time of 49.29, while Marino was not far behind, taking 32nd place with a 49.50 mark.
