RPI Shuts Out Skidmore in Game One of Weekend Series
TROY, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team began the weekend with an 8-0 victory over Skidmore today at Karl Steffen Ballpark. Eight different Engineers recorded a hit in the shutout win, with Aidan Hicks and Matt Chotiner each tallying two hits apiece to lead the RPI lineup. Charlie Lapp reached base three times, including a two-run home run in the bottom of the second that put RPI ahead 2-0.
