University of Denver defenseman Sean Behrens has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Colorado Avalanche beginning in 2024-25, after spending the remaining 2023-24 campaign with the Colorado Eagles on an amateur tryout. Behrens, 21, achieved career highs this past season with four goals and 27 assists for 31 points, and played an instrumental role in helping the Pioneers secure their 10th NCAA title.
