Solonoski shines as track & field kicks off the weekend at the Coach Pollard Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa.-- The Kutztown University track & field team's throwing squad opened up the weekend at the Coach Pollard Invitational hosted by Moravian University on Friday in Bethlehem. Jacob Solonoski (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) was KU's top performer on the day, winning the hammer throw event with a toss of 53.02m (173'11.25"). The Weatherly, Pa. native earned a PSAC qualifying mark and the fifth-best mark in KU history with his performance.
