Tomcats compete at SRU’s John Papa Invitational

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Thiel College men’s and women’s track & field teams competed Thursday in Slippery Rock University’s John Papa Invitational. Matt Beuermann (Devonport, Tasmania, Australia/Don College) led the men’s team with a second-place finish in the 1,500-meter run in 4:13.80. Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) finished 16 th (4:35.27). Andrew Yocum (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) finished sixth (11:16.80) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase while Tristan Mlynarek (Delta, Ohio/Delta) finished 16 th (2:20.35) in the 800-meter run.
