Two-Run Fifth Lifts Bulldogs Past Tigers
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The Alabama A&M University softball team used a two-run fifth inning to halt a three-game losing streak and defeat Jackson State, 2-0, in a Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) game on Friday at the Bulldog Softball Field. HOW IT HAPPENED After scoreless innings, Jackson State (25-14 overall, 12-6 SWAC) loaded the bases in the top of the fifth, but a fly out to right by Jace Jackson ended the scoring threat and Alabama A&M (8-22, 4-14) capitalized in the bottom of the inning.
