Varsity Field Dedicated

Varsity Field, one of Muhlenberg’s most historic athletic facilities, was dedicated prior to the recent women’s lacrosse game against Dickinson.Pictured above at the dedication are, left to right, women’s lacrosse players Melissa Pierpont and Emily Vaughan, men’s soccer player Ben Mulford, Muhlenberg President Kathleen Harring, men’s soccer player Kevin Adams and women’s soccer players Jocelyn Mertz and Abigail Trimble. Varsity Field, which has been in continuous use since the inception of the men’s soccer program in 1943, underwent several enhancements last summer, most notably having its grass field replaced with synthetic turf.
