Wendland Represents CUW at Augustana

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – On Friday at the Augustana Meet of Champions, freshman Zach Wendland (Green Bay, Wis.) competed in the decathlon for the CUW men’s track and field team. Through the first five events, Wendland sits in 13th place among 28 competitors with 3,070 points. Wendland had his best finish of the day in the high jump, as he cleared a height of 1.90 meters for third place overall, contributing 714 points to his total. The freshman also placed in the top ten in the 400-meter run, recording a time of 53.21 seconds, good for tenth and 673 points.…
