Women’s Golf Enters Day 2 Of NEC Championship In 10th Place

Pine Mountain, GA - The Wagner women's golf team finished Day 1 of the NEC Championship in 10th place out of 12 teams, with junior Ximena de la Garza leading the way in a tie for 30th place on the individual leaderboard. De la Garza shot a 79 (+9) on the day, tying with three other golfers. Next on the individual leaderboard is junior Aisha Rodriguez , who shot an 80 (+10) and is tied for 34th place. Rounding out the golfers for the day were sophomores Josephine Sawyer (+20) and Rileigh Leighton (+14), and junior Elise Fujita (+14).
