Women’s Golf Opens NEC Championship in Lead

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Sacred Heart University women's golf team's quest for a third straight Northeast Conference (NEC) Championship got off on the right foot on Friday. The Pioneers opened the 2024 NEC Championship, held at the Lake View Course at Callaway Resort Gardens & Golf, in first place after round one. The Pioneers carded a round-one score of 282 (+2) this afternoon, leading second-place LIU (288) by six strokes.
