MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team competed against a strong Bethel side this evening, falling 6-3 to the Royals. The Scots are now 9-5 (4-3 MIAC) while Bethel improves to 15-1 (5-1 MIAC). The Scots earned one of the three doubles points, taking the win at No. 3 doubles. Senior Amanye Reynolds (St. Paul, Minn./Harding) and junior Megan Twomey (Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn) partnered to defeat their opponents 8-7 (7-5 tiebreaker).
