#12 Herons compete at New York State Championships
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y.— The 12th-ranked William Smith rowing team was back in action competing at the New York State Collegiate Championships today. The Herons had three boats competing against the top three boats from across the state. The Herons competed on the 2,000-meter Fish Creek Course. All three divisions were represented at the State Championship Regatta. THIRD VARSITY EIGHT William Smith’s third varsity competed in a finals-only race. Rowing out of Lane 2, they competed against Hamilton, two boats from Smith, Skidmore, Colgate and Rochester. Four of the five schools were ranked or received votes in this week’s Poll. The…
