CANYON, Texas – Sophomore Coleson Abel was dominant on the mound Saturday, striking out eight West Texas A&M hitters over six innings of work out of the bullpen, but it was not enough as the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals lost 7-5 to the Buffaloes. In addition to his eight strikeouts, Abel threw six innings, giving up one run on three hits and walking three for LCU.
